1. This Reference
Belleville Residents Directory is privately operated. It describes and links to public rolls, record indexes, and directory collections relating to Belleville, New Jersey. It does not host government records and has no connection to a government office, court, or records custodian.
2. Permitted Use
Use this reference lawfully. You may not use it or a linked result to:
- Stalk, threaten, harass, intimidate, or harm a person.

6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from use of the reference or an outside resource.
7. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold the operators harmless from claims, demands, and reasonable attorneys’ fees caused by your misuse of the reference or violation of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The reference’s original text, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Linking and brief attributed quotations are welcome. Republishing full pages or systematic copying is not permitted.
9. Term Updates
We may revise these terms by posting an updated version. Continued use after the posting accepts the revision.
10. Restricting Access
We may limit or block access, without notice, when a user violates these terms or misuses the reference.
11. New Jersey Law
New Jersey law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Belleville and Essex County public-record requests remain subject to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., and the relevant custodian’s procedures.
12. Severability
If a part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
